About Us

Service the Way It Used to Be

Hunter’s Electrical Service has spent more than 27 years building a reputation for honest service, dependable electrical work, and lasting customer relationships. The company was founded with one simple goal: treat customers the way they deserve to be treated.

That commitment continues today. Whether we are troubleshooting an electrical issue, upgrading a service, wiring a new home, or completing a commercial project, our team focuses on clear communication, quality workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.

Hunter’s proudly serves Rowan, Cabarrus, Davidson, and Davie Counties in the Piedmont and is now expanding that same customer-first approach to Brunswick County and coastal North Carolina.

Our History

Hunter

I’ve been around electrical work for as long as I can remember. I grew up coming to job sites with my dad and watching him work, so the electrical trade has always been a big part of my life. What started as tagging along with my dad eventually grew into something I truly enjoy and am proud to be a part of.

One of my favorite things about this business is the relationships we get to build with our customers. It’s more than just showing up, doing the job, and leaving. We get to know people, work with them over the years, and become someone they can count on when they need us. I really enjoy that part of the job and being able to grow those relationships with the people in our community.

Now that I have a wife and a little girl of my own at home, it means even more to me to be building something I can be proud of and eventually pass down to the next generation. I’m grateful to have learned this trade from my dad, and I’m excited to continue growing Hunter’s Electrical Service and carrying on what we’ve built together.

Duane

My journey in the electrical trade began when I started training in high school. I worked my way through the field, commercial work, and an apprenticeship program that took me between Georgia and Wisconsin before eventually bringing me and my family back home to North Carolina.

With a wife, two daughters, and a set of newborn twins at home, I decided to take a chance and start my own company in 1999. I named it Hunter’s Electrical Service after my son, Hunter, and what started in 1999 has been a true blessing ever since.

Today, I’m thankful to have my son by my side in the field and my daughter helping in the office. I’m grateful for the relationships we’ve built with our customers, the support of this community, and God’s blessings along the way.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with one of my nine grandkids. I hope to continue passing this business down through our family and keep that family-owned, personal feel that can be hard to find these days. Family has always been at the heart of what I do, and I’m thankful to get to build this business alongside mine.
